Jazz, Paul, and Woen are the founding members of Full Circle Forestry Collective. We came together in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Helene to provide immediate support to our neighbors distributing, food, water, clothing, and other essential items. As winter came we transitioned our work to providing firewood. We decided to form our collective because we recognized the need for long term resiliency in Appalachia even after flood water receded. We have diverse skill sets including forest management, sustainable development, community organizing, and wildland firefighting. This work can not be done alone, it takes a community.
